Standards and Compatibility

Since its inception in 2000, TDNet has worked closely with thousands of content providers and all the major standards groups to ensure usage statistics and holdings data are current and up-to-date, so clients will have efficient access to full text content.  

TDNet is committed to creating an open platform that is capable of interoperating with other tools and services in the market and works to create productive relationships with other vendors. TDNet was among the first companies to use ONIX SOH, SUSHI and other ERM standards, in addition to attending various working groups in the US and Europe.

In addition to compatibility across its own suite of products (Journals Manager, eBook Manager, Searcher Analyzer, etc.), TDNet utilizes both API scripts and Web Service Layers to connect and communicate with other tools and systems provided by other companies.  The company has both worked with individual customers to assist with coding and interoperability between systems in addition to allowing customers to use their own programmers to establish these connections.   

All statistical data obtained in any of the different TDNet services/products/solutions can be imported and exported via standard formats: Excel, Text, Delimited, XML, ONIX, MARC, COUNTER®, etc. TDNet offers a high level of customization to export files by format, availability and suggested fields.
